The EMPOWER Lab develops culturally and linguistically responsive interventions for Latine/x multilingual youths and families. Our interventions support Latine/x youths and families' strengths and resilience in school, home, and community settings. By incorporating culturally and linguistically responsive strategies, we aim to create a more inclusive and equitable educational environment.

Our approach fosters deeper connections with Latine/x students and families by valuing their cultural backgrounds, languages, and experiences. We use community-participatory research to support the Latine/x community. We are dedicated to creating an environment where Latine/x students and families feel valued and supported.

By embracing cultural diversity, we aim to enhance educational experiences and outcomes. We engage directly with the Latine/x community to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities. Through participatory research, community members actively contribute to the development and evaluation of our research programs.
